Website maintenance: someone looking after it before it breaks
Updates, security, backups, monitoring and optimisation. Monthly, planned, with a report — not only when something goes wrong.
A website left unattended does not become ugly. It becomes slow, vulnerable and, eventually, unavailable. Maintenance costs far less than recovery after an incident.
Tested updates, security and performance checks, and the included hours for changes.

Approach
Preventive, not reactive.
The difference between a site that runs for years and one that breaks monthly is not the platform. It is whether somebody looks at it before the problem appears.
How we work
Planned maintenance
Updates are tested on a copy before they are applied, backups are verified by actually restoring them, and uptime is monitored automatically. We do not wait for you to tell us something is broken — most of the time we find out first and fix it before you notice.
Updates tested, not applied blindlyAn update pushed straight to production can break a critical component. We test it on a copy first.
Backups verified by restoringA backup that has never been tested is not a backup, it is an assumption. We restore ours periodically.
Monitoring every few minutesIf the site stops responding we are alerted immediately, including outside office hours.
Included hours for changesYou do not get a separate quote for every text change or image swap.
Monthly technical SEO checksIndexing, crawl errors and Search Console warnings, checked consistently.
You remain the owner of everythingHosting, domain, code, credentials. You can leave at any time without losing anything.
Our client relationships average more than three years, and around 70% of new projects come from referrals. In maintenance, that is the only indicator that genuinely counts.
Worth knowing: if we take on a site that has been neglected for a long time, a stabilisation stage is needed and estimated separately. We cannot guarantee a healthy monthly rhythm on top of an unstable foundation.
Managed hosting
Infrastructure we run ourselves
We move the site onto a server we manage, with monitoring, off-site backups and optimisation included. One point of contact for everything.
Suited when your current hosting is slow or when you would rather not deal with the server side.
Continuous optimisation
Not only upkeep
Alongside maintenance, periodic improvements: speed, buying journey, conversion, content. The site grows rather than merely staying alive.
Suited when the site is your main sales channel.
Emergency response
Even if you are not a client
Site down, infected or suspended by the host. We step in, restore from backup or clean it, then secure it so it does not recur.
Suited to critical situations. After it is resolved, you decide whether to stay on maintenance.

Our rule: We recommend maintenance for any site that brings in customers. For an online store or a platform with integrations it is not optional: a day of downtime there translates directly into lost orders and lost trust.
Transparency
Good maintenance is invisible. That is exactly why it has to be reported.
When everything runs, it is easy to assume nothing is happening. The monthly report shows precisely what was done to keep it that way.
What was updated
Core, plugins and dependencies, with versions before and after.
Work carried out during the month, with the time drawn from your included hours.
What we recommend
What we noticed and what is worth improving, with priority and an estimate.
A concrete example: on one client site we traced the repeated corruption of a critical configuration file to a faulty security plugin rather than to an attack. Without monitoring, the symptom would have been treated for months.
Maintenance is a monthly plan based on the number of hours included. Our rate is €50 per hour, excluding VAT, and the plan is sized around the complexity of the site and the response time you want. Unused hours can be carried into the following month.
What exactly does maintenance include?
Tested updates of the core and plugins, daily backups verified by restoring, uptime monitoring with alerts, security scanning, performance optimisation, technical SEO checks and a number of included hours for content changes. Plus a monthly report covering what was done and what we recommend.
Will you take over a site built by someone else?
Yes, and it happens often. We start with a technical audit: which updates are missing, what vulnerabilities exist, how the speed looks and whether the current backup actually works. We tell you honestly what needs fixing before we settle into a monthly rhythm.
What happens if the site goes down?
Monitoring alerts us within minutes, including outside office hours. We respond within the time defined in the agreement, restore from backup if needed and identify the cause so it does not recur.
Do unused hours carry over?
Yes, unused hours can be carried into the following month. It does not seem fair to us to charge for time you did not use simply because it was a quiet month.
Do I remain the owner of the site and the hosting?
Always. The domain, the hosting, the code and all credentials stay in your name. You can end the engagement at any time without losing anything and without depending on us to continue with someone else.
Why is the host's backup not enough?
Because it lives on the same server. If the server has a serious problem or the account is suspended, you lose both the site and the copies. We keep backups off the server and test them periodically by restoring them.
Do you offer emergency response to non-clients?
Yes. Site down, infected or blocked — we step in, restore or clean it and secure it. It is billed on hours used. Once it is resolved, you are free to decide whether to stay on maintenance.
Do you maintain online stores as well?
Yes, with additional checks on the integrations: payments, carriers, invoicing and stock synchronisation. In a store, an integration that fails silently costs more than the site being down, because nobody notices immediately.
Can you move the site to different hosting?
Yes. We handle the full migration and verify everything works before changing DNS, so there is no downtime. We recommend moving when the current hosting is limiting performance.
Estimate
Tell us what you need. We reply with an estimate.
Five steps, under two minutes. The more context you give us, the closer the estimate will be to reality.

What would you like us to build?
You can pick more than one.
Tell us about your site.
You do not need to know which updates are missing or how secure it is. Send us the address. We run a technical audit and tell you exactly what state it is in and what monthly maintenance would involve.
